Return/Exchange Policy

Baby Browns is committed to courteous service and customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly refund the original price of purchase, or exchange your purchase within 30 days of the original order. Items returned after the 30 day period will be subject to a 30% restocking fee, unless you have contacted us and we have issued you an RMA number. Include our return/exchange paperwork in the returned package. Shipping costs back to Baby Browns is the customer’s responsibility. We highly recommend that you insure packages being returned to us.

  • All returns must be in their in original resalable condition, including attached tags, for a full refund or exchange. If we determine an item has been used, it will be subject to a 50% restocking fee, or will be returned at the customer’s expense.
  • Please allow us up to 10 business days to process your return.
  • Returns cannot be accepted on special order, personalized or close-out/sale merchandise. If these are returned, they will be sent back at the customer’s expense.
  • If you got free shipping on the original sale, and the item is returned, you will receive a credit with actual shipping costs taken out.

    Sales Tax

    Sales tax added to your order will reflect the applicable state and local sales taxes to orders shipped within the state of Indiana. The Internet Tax Freedom Act, signed into law on October 21, 1998, does not preclude sales and use taxes on any and all commerce conducted over the internet. State and local governments are allowed to impose sales and use tax on all such electronic sales, provided that the tax rate is the same as that which would be imposed on the transactions if they were conducted over the phone or in our local store. For orders delivered to Indiana, the state and local sales tax rate is currently 6%.

    Defects

    If your item has a defect, call us immediately at 877-356-BABY (2229) to report it. We will issue an RMA number. All defects must be reported within 2 days of receiving the items or we will may be unable to assist you in repairing or returning your product.

    Price Match Guarantee

    We will meet or beat any competitor's price. We want you to know you are getting the lowest price possible at Baby Browns. If you find the same item at a lower price, email us or call us. A few conditions apply: items must be sold by an authorized US retailer; online auction sales, misprints, close-outs don't apply. The sales price must be available to the general public. Price match applies to the merchandise only. Requests for credits must be made within five business days of your purchase. Price match offer is good for five business days.     Special Promotions

    In the event of special promotions or discounts, Baby Browns reserves the right to apply additional rules and to exclude certain items. Those rules will be posted on the relevant promotions pages at the time the offer is valid. Please call our customer service at 877-356-BABY (2229)if you have any questions that are associated with these special offers.

    Order Changes/Cancellations

    If you have placed an order and need to cancel it please call us at 877-356-BABY (2229) within 4 hours of placing your order. After that time there is no guarantee that we will be able to stop it from being shipped. If the order is shipped, it then qualifies as a return.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled via email and cannot be cancelled after an order has shipped or is monogrammed.
  • Order changes cannot be guaranteed if received via email.
  • Special order cancellations must be done within one business day of your order date.
  • Incorrect Ship To Address Provided

    Packages that are returned or shipped with an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to additional shipping charges. Orders that are later cancelled due to an incorrect address provided by the customer are also subject to actual shipping charges. Once we receive the package back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping. Requests for packages to be shipped again will be subject to actual shipping charges.

    Special Order Items

    Hand painted, personalized, custom designed furnishings and other made-to-order items are crafted to your personal specifications and absolutely cannot be returned. They require payment in full upon order. You can cancel a special order item within one day of order date. Most items that qualify as special order are noted on the product’s page.

    Baby Browns makes an effort to offer only the highest quality, well-crafted items that are safe for your children. We cannot be held liable for any accidents resulting in personal injury that involve any products sold on Baby Browns. Estimated delivery times, prices, and availability are subject to change at any time.

    Browns Bucks

    We regret but bonus points earned through Browns On 5th's Bonus Bucks programs are not redeemable for Baby Brown's products.

    Baby Browns is pleased to accept credit card payments from Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Cashier’s checks are also accepted.

    Gift Wrapping

    Our signature gift wrapping is available on select items for only $5.95.

    Shipping Information

    Shipping charges are determined based on the total amount of your order. These rates apply only to orders shipped via ground shipping within the contiguous 48 United States. UPS is our standard carrier. When shipping outside the contiguous United States or to AFO/FPO addresses, Baby Browns may ship via another carrier. Express Shipping (2 Day, or overnight) is available on select items upon request. International shipping is also available. Please contact us for pricing and availability. Some larger furniture pieces, and other bulky and heavy items incur a Delivery Surcharge, as they require extra care and packaging. Delivery surcharges are noted in the product’s description.

    Standard Delivery vs. Premier Delivery

    Standard Delivery for larger items includes placement of the item just inside the main threshold of your home or apartment building. For an extra fee, you may request Premier Delivery, which includes placement of the item in the room of your choice, unpacking the item, and removal of packaging debris.

    Freight Shipments

    For shipments being delivered from a freight carrier, the delivery company will call ahead of time to schedule your delivery. You need to be present at time of receipt to inspect and sign for your delivery. When your order arrives, you are responsible for performing a thorough inspection of your shipment, in the presence of the driver. If you find any signs of damage to the item’s packaging, you must note the damage on the driver’s delivery ticket. Please notify us of the damage immediately by calling 1-877-356-2229 (BABY).
