Flower Growth Chart is One to Grow with!

Affordable Pirate Artwork for Kid's Rooms

Ever since the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, pirate themed nurseries and playrooms have been hot, hot, hot.  But that doesn't mean it's easy to find cute and affordable pirate artwork for your little captain. Sherri Blum (one of our favorite artists) has come up with a Pirate's Cove Giclee and Pirate's Treasure Map or only $99.  Giclees are great to have because you don't need to frame them, the image wraps around the corners of the artwork for a nice clean look.   They are well sized too, at 16" x 20", so they're substantial while not being a wall-hog. 

The colors in these pieces are wonderful to work with - khaki, black and red.  Paint the walls a warm khaki color, add a red rug and pirate artwork, and you'll have a room fit worth a pirate's ransom!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Neat Solutions Change Pads to the Rescue

Last time I took my kids to the Children's Museum, nature called and we had to use the public diaper changer. Uhhh...gross.  The public changer was so nasty I didn't even want to put my own changing mat on it.  Next time this happens, I'll be set because I found the coolest solution - Disposable change pads from a company called Neat Solutions!   The idea is brilliant, it's a super soft, extra big changing mat that you can use and then...voila...throw away the disposable changing mat.  You won't have to take the public changing station's germs along with you any longer.  They come in a pack of 6 for only $3.49.  These make great stocking stuffers, and their a great gift for a new mom.

Tummy T's makes some of the cutest maternity t-shirts and henleys.  We love the Buddah Belly T, and the Hands On T-shirt, but another standout favorite is the Maternity Twins Henley.
